How to prepare Egg Toast?
1. To a mixing bowl, add
• 3 tablespoons chopped onion (or 2 up to 3 shallots or green onions)
• 1 or 2 green chilies chopped or 1/4 teaspoon crushed black pepper
• 1 sprig of coriander leaves, chopped parsley
• 2-3 tablespoons fresh firm tomatoes (deseeded and cut (or bell peppers)
• 1/4 – 1/3 teaspoon of salt (adjust according to your taste)
• 1 teaspoon of turmeric
The tang of tomatoes is mild and gives a melting-in-your-mouth flavor in cooking with eggs. If you don’t like tomatoes or the taste of tomatoes, you could substitute them with finely chopped bell peppers.
2. Crack the egg into the bowl.
3. Mix well using an egg beater or fork beater.
Make the Egg Bread Toast
4. heat 1 tablespoon of butter or oil in a saucepan and then spread it evenly.
5. If the pan is sufficiently hot, put one edge of the bread slice into an egg. Don’t overheat the pan. Pouring all the bread in at once will leave eggs uncooked in the bread. So just do one side first.

• 2 slices bread (prefer thin slices)
• 1 – 2 eggs
• 1/4 – 1/3 salt (adjust the amount to suit your needs)
• 1 to 3 teaspoons onions or 2-3 shallots, or green onions, cut finely
• 1 chopped green chili or 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper, if necessary
• 2-3 tablespoons of tomato firm and ripe, deseeded and chopped, or bell peppers
• A pinch of cinnamon (optional)
• 1 cup coriander leaves or parsley (chopped)
• 1 tablespoon butter or oil
• 1 teaspoon of red chili powder (or chili flakes, if desired to sprinkle)
• 1 to 2 slices of cheese (optional) (mozzarella or other)
Cooking Steps & Instructions
• Incorporate chopped onions, tomato, chilies, chilies turmeric, coriander leaves, and salt into the bowl.
• Break the egg, and then beat all of it well.
How to make egg Toast?
• Make a hot pan using oil. Spread it out evenly.
• Dip one end of the bread into the egg. Place it over the hot skillet. Cook until it is cooked.
• Put the bread in a bowl and add the remaining mixture into the pan.
• Then cook it until the mixture is a little set before placing it on top of the cheese (optional), after which you can spread the bread (untoasted part) on top and press.
• The egg should be cooked until it is cooked to perfection on both sides.
• Serve hot eggs with toast.
Egg Toast in the Oven
- The oven should be heated to the temperature of 380 F (or 160 C for a minimum of 15 minutes. Butter the other side of your bread. Place them on top of a baking tray by putting the buttered side down.
- Pour a small amount of the egg mix over the bread slices.
- The tray should be placed on the middle rack. Bake for 14 minutes or until eggs are cooked to perfection.
